Metallica Film Fest

The Metallica Film Fest, taking place at BioRex Kulttuurikasarmi on Saturday, June 8th, offers three Metallica-themed movies. The afternoon kicks off at 3:00 PM with CLIFF 'EM ALL. Originally released on VHS in 1987, Cliff 'Em All is Metallica's first video release. Cliff 'Em All features performances from 1983-1986, comprising mostly bootleg videos, home videos, and unreleased material shot for television. Alongside the performances, Cliff 'Em All captures interesting anecdotes from band members and includes some interviews.

At 5:00 PM, the audience will enjoy CUNNING STUNTS, released in 1998, filmed in Fort Worth, Texas in May 1997. Metallica was on the Poor Touring Me tour in support of their Load and Reload albums during this time. Continuing to push musical boundaries and enhance the concert experience for fans, as evident in Cunning Stunts, Metallica's first high-definition DVD project filmed on DVD. The excellent quality of both audio and visual aspects, combined with spectacular pyrotechnics and a circular stage in the middle of the arena, makes this film an unforgettable experience.

The final screening of the evening starts at 7:30 PM with ORGULLO, PASION Y GLORIA: TRES NOCHES EN LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO, showcasing three nights in Mexico City with 155,000 enthusiastic Metallica fans. Filmed by long-time Metallica collaborator Wayne Isham, this comprehensive production was released in Spanish-speaking countries in 2009.
