Ross Halfin Book Signing

Photographer Ross Halfin has worked with Metallica since the beginning of their career. His latest official Metallica book, Metallica: The Black Album in Black & White (Reel Art Press), celebrates Metallica's Black classic album, one of the best-selling albums of all time. Halfin, with his cameras, was with the band during the album's recording at Hollywood's One on One studios and throughout the extensive tour that followed. Metallica: The Black Album in Black & White includes classic and previously unpublished photos from that time.

Ross Halfin's book sessions, included in Metallica Takeover weekends in several cities, have been hugely successful, with demand often exceeding capacity. Halfin's intimate book sessions include a slideshow, often featuring images from the previous night's performance, and the opportunity to ask Halfin questions. The duration of the presentation is usually 45-60 minutes, followed by the opportunity to get Halfin's signature on the Metallica book, which attendees can bring with them to the event. The event at BioRex Lasipalatsi starts at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 8th.
