STANDING TICKETS
It is recommended to enter with a general admission standing ticket through the SOUTH ENTRANCE located on the Olympic Stadium Square (Töölönlahti Bay side), marked on the area map as SOUTH ENTRANCE.
Those who have purchased standing tickets will receive a wristband at the entrance gate. The wristband allows access to the field, from where you can visit the various vending points and stadium services also behind the seated areas. The wristband does not allow re-entry to the stadium.
There are several access points to the field and there are signs at the stadium indicating the locations of the access points.
Please follow the signs above the entrance gates and enter the stadium through the right gate. Please note that you can do your security check at SOUTH ENTRANCE at any security checkpoint with the least queue. Kindly ensure you scan your ticket at the gate that says KENTTÄLIPUT / FIELD TICKET above in order to receive your wristband for the field.
FRONT FIELD
With a front field ticket, you can only enter the stadium from the SOUTH ENTRANCE at the south end of the stadium. The south entrance is located on the side of the Olympic Stadium square (Töölönlahti) and is marked SOUTH ENTRANCE on the venue map.
Those who purchased a front field ticket will receive a wristband at the gate upon entry. The wristband grants you access to the field and other stadium facilities. Please note that the wristband does not entitle you to leave and return to the stadium.
Please follow the signs above the entrance gates and enter the stadium through the right gate. Please note that you can do your security check at SOUTH ENTRANCE at any security checkpoint with the least queue. However, your ticket must be scanned at the gate that says KENTTÄLIPUT ETUOSA / FRONT FIELD above it in order to receive your wristband for the front of the stage.
SEATED TICKETS
To avoid congestion, we recommend arriving at the stadium with a seated ticket via the NORTH ENTRANCE, EAST ENTRANCE, or MARATHON GATE entrances. The SOUTH ENTRANCE has only a few lanes reserved for scanning seated tickets.
TROOPER VIP PACKAGE
Those who have purchased the Trooper VIP Package are required to access the stadium exclusively via the SOUTH ENTRANCE.
All Trooper VIP Package holders will receive an email containing further details regarding arrival and scheduling. Details will be provided closer to the event.
The Olympic Stadium is conveniently located in Helsinki's central Töölö district (address: Paavo Nurmen tie 1). We recommend arriving at the stadium early and using public transport or walking. There may be queues at the gates due to the large number of people. Arriving early ensures you get into the stadium before the concert starts.
Please arrive at the concert at least two hours before the main act's scheduled start time to ensure entry before the concert begins. Gates open at 5pm, and the services at the Olympic Stadium will also open at this time. The venue has several food and drink sales points, and merchandise stands.
Please note that the renovation of Mannerheimintie may cause disturbances to pedestrian, cycling, and public transport routes. Signs will be provided on-site to guide routes as clearly as possible. For more information on the progress of the roadworks, you can find updates here (in Finnish, https://manskunkatutyot.fi).
ARRIVING BY FOOT OR BIKE
It’s easy to reach the stadium using the city’s pedestrian and cycling paths. It’s approximately a two-kilometre walk from both Helsinki Central Railway Station and Pasila Train Station.
Please do not bring bicycles or e-scooters into the stadium area, as there are no parking facilities for them. If you choose to arrive by bicycle, you can find information about the nearest bike parking locations on the City of Helsinki's website.
Light traffic will be restricted in the immediate vicinity of the Olympic Stadium on the east side on Tahkontie and on the west side on the light traffic route between Paavo Nurmen tie and Pohjoinen Stadiontie. The detours are marked with signs on site.
The area of operation for electric scooters is restricted around the Olympic Stadium. Please familiarize yourself with the restrictions and parking areas in the app in advance.
BY TAXI / APP TAXI
The taxi stands in the event area are located on Vauhtitie in front of the City Winter Garden and on Urheilukatu in front of the Bolt Arena.
The possibility to order app-based taxis to the area affected by the event’s traffic arrangements is restricted. Please check the situation in advance in the app and familiarise yourself with the traffic arrangements in the Olympic Stadium area.
The same traffic arrangements apply to taxis as to other vehicles in the area, except for the designated taxi stands.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The best tool for planning your route is the local public transport operator HSL’s Journey Planner, which can be found online (https://www.hsl.fi/en) or via the HSL app. Please remember that tickets for local trains, trams, and the metro cannot be purchased on board and must be bought in advance from a ticket machine or through the HSL Mobile App.
BY CAR
The event organisers have not arranged parking, and the concerts will cause special traffic arrangements around the Olympic Stadium. If you are driving to Helsinki, it’s recommended to leave your car further away from the stadium and arrive on foot or by public transport from your parking spot.
There is no vehicle access or parking near the event area. The Olympiastadionin aukio area (Olympic Stadium Square), Mäntymäentie street, and the Mäntymäki field are reserved for concert arrangements. Traffic will also be restricted on Toivonkatu, on the Urheilutie stretch between Sallinkatu and Toivonkatu. Driving is allowed onto property.
For safety reasons, Pohjoinen Stadiontie, Stadionpolku, Hammarskjöldintie, Mäntymäentie and Paavo Nurmen tie will also be closed to vehicle traffic. Parking is prohibited in the area.
If you are dropping off or picking up concertgoers, please arrange drop-off and pick-up points further away from the stadium. Parking locations in Helsinki can be found on the City of Helsinki's website. Please note that the Mäntymäenkenttä parking area will not be available during the concert.
There will be a security check and ticket scanning at the entrances. Have your ticket ready for inspection while queuing and leave prohibited items at home or in the cloakroom before the security check. Before scanning your ticket, set your phone screen to maximum brightness and hold your ticket close to the scanner.
Please make sure to download the Lippu.fi app on your phone in advance and open your tickets in the app before arriving at the stadium, as the network may be weak due to the large number of people. Once you have opened your tickets in the Lippu.fi app, they will be available offline.
The largest queuing area is at the SOUTH ENTRANCE on the Olympic Stadium square (Olympiastadionin aukio). All floor ticket (= general admission standing) holders are primarily requested to enter the stadium through this entrance.
You can proceed to the security check via the route with the least queue.
Note that at the SOUTH ENTRANCE, there are numerous ticket scanners after the security check. The signs above the ticket scanners indicate which gate your ticket allows entry through. To avoid queues, please use any ticket scanner designated for your ticket type.
Extra items can be left for a fee in a cloakroom outside the area, located near the SOUTH ENTRANCE (see the exact location on the map). Large bags and backpacks should be left at home or in the cloakroom. The maximum size for bags corresponds to an A4 paper sheet. Please find a list of prohibited items below.
You can transfer LIPPU.Pass tickets to your group members before the event on the Lippu.fi app.
Please note that tickets can be resold only through the official FanSALE service offered by Lippu.fi. You can resell your tickets easily on the Lippu.fi app. Read more HERE.
Please note that ticket packages cannot be resold or transferred.
Leaving the stadium premises after the concert will follow the same routes as arrival. We recommend all concertgoers to allow enough time and patience for the journey out. With tens of thousands of fans leaving at the same time, there will be congestion on pedestrian pathways and public transport.
The best tool for planning your route is the HSL Journey Planner, which can be found online (https://www.hsl.fi/en) or via the HSL app. Please note that train, tram, and metro tickets must be bought in advance from a ticket machine or the HSL App.
We warmly welcome all fans to the concert and are committed to providing the best possible arrangements for everyone. Below you will find more information on the event’s accessibility.
The accessible seating area is primarily intended for guests who have purchased a wheelchair ticket. The platform has space for wheelchair users and their companions. There are some seats for companions. Accessible toilets are located near the wheelchair platform and elsewhere on the event site.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
Please check your ticket for the location of your seat.
SECTION D: The largest accessible seating area at the Olympic Stadium is located behind Section D on the east side of the stadium (MARATHON GATE).
SECTION G: Another accessible stand is located at Section G9 at the north end (NORTH ENTRANCE).
ARRIVAL AND MOBILITY IN THE STADIUM
Accessible entrances are marked with a wheelchair icon. We recommend guests with mobility restrictions to arrive via the MARATHON GATE on the east side of the stadium, near the Helsinki City Winter Garden. This entrance is closest to the accessible D section and the drop-off point for individuals with mobility limitations.
The nearest entrance to the accessible G section is the north entrance at the end of Pohjoinen Stadiontie street (NORTH ENTRANCE on the map), but you can also enter through the Marathon Gate, where you will be directed to the correct seating area.
Staff will be on hand to assist guests with mobility and functional impairments and direct them to accessible areas.
If you need more detailed guidance on site, staff with accessibility knowledge can be found at the info point at the south entrance on the Olympic Stadium square (SOUTH ENTRANCE) and at the drop-off point for individuals with mobility restrictions (marked DROP OFF and with a wheelchair icon on the site map).
The area around the Olympic Stadium is mostly asphalt, and the entrances and walkways have lighting. The seating areas require some walking up concrete steps, which have few handrails.
We recommend extra caution if you have mobility restrictions. The field area (general admission standing) is entirely a standing area, with no seating. Please allow extra time and patience when moving around the area, as the stadium’s passageways may become temporarily crowded with concertgoers.
ARRIVAL BY CAR / PARKING
(Please see ‘Arrival’ for general arrival instructions)
For accessible taxis and drop-off traffic for individuals with mobility impairments, there is a designated drop-off point on Hammarskjöldintie, at the end of Helsinginkatu / side of Helsinki Winter Garden, which is closed off from other traffic. The drop-off point is marked on the area map as "DROP OFF POINT" with a wheelchair icon.
The drop-off point can only be accessed by accessible taxis, private cars with a disabled parking permit, or if a passenger presents appropriate documentation of their mobility impairment. Other drop-off traffic should use the Vauhtitie stop in front of the Helsinki Winter Garden.
Traffic will be directed by security personnel, who will provide further instructions on-site. Parking is not permitted at the drop-off point.
A limited number of parking spaces have been reserved in the immediate vicinity of the drop-off point for vehicles of concert guests with reduced mobility, displaying an appropriate parking permit. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the event organizer cannot guarantee availability for all who need one.
The event organizer is not responsible for the sustainability of street parking for the individual mobility needs of concert quests.
A companion for a guest with a wheelchair ticket can enter with the same ticket.
Companions for visually impaired or other guests requiring assistance for health reasons will need their own ticket. Please contact the Lippu.fi customer service, as companion tickets are not available online. Be prepared to provide proof of your need for a companion at the gate with a valid document, such as an EU Disability Card, companion card, or certificate of visual impairment.
