ONEVIOLIN is a Finnish artist breaking boundaries between different music genres with his internationally unique concept. He makes cover-versions from global hit-songs using sounds produced with only one violin. This means that everything from the drums to the melody is created entirely with the artist's violin. His videos have become a viral phenomenon across social media platforms and have gained tens of millions of views internationally.

ONEVIOLIN’s debut album “ONE” was released in November 2022. The double-album consists of ten Finnish and ten global songs including the biggest radio and steaming-hits of the past few years. Like on ONEVIOLIN’s gigs also on the album everything the listener hears has been created with just one violin. One song can be built up from over a thousand separate violin-tracks.

In 2020 ONEVIOLIN took part in Finland’s Got Talent finishing as the runner-up in the competition. He has also performed alongside the biggest rap duo in Finland, JVG, as a headline act at Ruisrock and Blockfest music festivals after his version of one the duos’ songs went viral. The person behind ONEVIOLIN is Pekka Niemi, a Finnish violinist who studied in London at the Royal College of Music, one of the worlds most prestigious conservatoires.
